Tucked near a dam and spillway in Taylor County, this spot has a pretty cool natural setting that most playgrounds around here just don’t have. The water nearby gives kids something extra to look at and explore beyond the equipment itself. It’s one of those places where the surroundings do a lot of the heavy lifting. Accessibility is a real plus too, which isn’t something you can take for granted at smaller rural parks in this part of Iowa.
