If you’re anywhere near Monticello, this playground is worth going out of your way for. The zipline alone will keep kids coming back, and there are slides for just about every age and comfort level — from the little ones up to the older kids who think they’re too cool for playgrounds. What makes it stand out is the inclusive design, meaning more kids actually get to participate instead of sitting on the sidelines. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables and shaded seating make it easy to settle in for a few hours. Honestly one of the better setups in this part of Iowa.
