Playground at Beeson Arboretum

Beeson Arboretum finally got a proper playground, and honestly it’s a solid addition to what was already one of the nicer green spaces in Dodge City. The arboretum setting makes it feel a little different from your standard city park — there are actual trees and scenery rather than just a patch of grass and equipment dropped in a parking lot. The walking path loops through nicely, so parents can get some steps in while kids do their thing. Keep an eye out for the splash pad they’re currently installing right next to the play structure — that’s going to be a game changer once summer rolls around.
