Crestview Park

If you’re a Hiawatha local, you probably already know this one. Crestview has that low-key neighborhood feel where you can actually hear yourself think — the walking paths through the trees are genuinely peaceful, not just “park brochure” peaceful. There’s a basketball court and baseball diamond if you’re looking to get a game going, plus a covered veranda with a BBQ that’s honestly one of the better setups for a casual family cookout. The playground area is on the smaller side, but the open grass fields make up for it when the kids just need room to run. It’s well-kept, which around here isn’t something you take for granted.
