Honestly, what makes this Newton spot worth a stop isn’t the playground equipment — it’s the art and sculpture scattered through the space that give it a different feel from your typical city park. Kids end up wandering around looking at things, which is kind of a win. The basketball court keeps older ones busy while younger kids do their thing on the play structures. It’s low-key, it’s local, and it does the job.
