Great Plains Playground @ Lakewood Park

One of the newer additions to Lakewood Park, this playground has quickly become a go-to for families in Salina. The setting is genuinely pretty — the kind of park where you actually want to hang around after the kids are done playing. Picnic tables are scattered throughout, so packing a lunch and making a full afternoon of it is totally doable. Good for all ages, and it doesn’t feel like an afterthought the way some playground updates do.
