Highland Hills Park

Fort Thomas locals know this one well — it’s the kind of park you end up at every weekend without really planning it. The trails wind through some genuinely nice wooded terrain, and the open grass field gives kids (and dogs) plenty of room to do their thing. Shade trees and covered picnic spots make it actually usable in the summer heat, which not every park around here can claim. Restrooms and parking mean you’re not roughing it, either. Good for a quick walk or a full afternoon with the whole family.
