Moreland Park Playground

One of the better-kept parks in Owensboro, honestly. The shade trees actually do their job here, which you’ll appreciate in a Kentucky summer, and there’s enough going on — basketball court, walking path, open grass — that you’re not just staring at one piece of equipment. Little kids and older ones both have their own areas, so nobody’s getting run over by a teenager mid-swing. Restrooms, parking, picnic tables — it’s all there and it actually works. This one’s a legit neighborhood staple, not just a patch of grass with a slide.
