Dumont Hill At Dugas Community Park

If you want a park that actually feels like it has some history behind it, Dumont Hill is worth the trip. The climbing structure here is geared toward older kids and teenagers — this isn’t baby stuff, it’ll genuinely challenge them. The trails wind close to the forest edge with interpretive signs along the way, so there’s something to actually read and think about while you’re out there. It stays impressively clean and well-kept for a neighborhood park, restrooms included. A solid spot if your kid is past the toddler playground phase and needs somewhere with a bit more bite to it.
