Honestly, there’s not a ton of flash here, but for families along Louisiana Avenue, it does the job. It’s the kind of spot locals swing by because it’s right there, easy to get to, no big detour required. Lake Charles has its share of parks, and this one’s more neighborhood staple than destination — which isn’t a bad thing if you’ve got restless kids and limited time.
