One of the nicer spots for kids in Augusta right now — Calumet got a real upgrade and it shows. The equipment is modern and well-kept, with slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure that works for both the little ones and kids up to about 12. Parents can actually relax here: shaded seating, picnic tables, clean restrooms, and good sightlines so you’re not constantly chasing anyone down. The basketball court gives older kids something to do when they burn through the playground. It’s a quiet neighborhood, not a lot of foot traffic, which honestly makes it feel like a bit of a local secret.
