Lubec doesn’t have a ton of options for kids, so this playground pulls real weight for families passing through on Route 1. It’s bigger than you’d expect for a town this size, which is a genuine surprise out here at the edge of the country. Pull over, let the kids burn some energy, and you’re back on the road without the whining. Locals use it too, so you know it’s actually maintained and not just a token gesture toward having a playground.
