Wiscasset Community Playground

Good luck finding a spot at the picnic tables on a summer weekend — this place gets busy for a reason. The setup works for pretty much any age, with swings, slides, a climbing structure, and a sandbox that younger kids will absolutely lose track of time in. When the little ones need a break, adults can grab shaded seating or fire up one of the BBQ grills without having to haul everything across a parking lot. The soccer field and open grass give older kids room to actually run around, and the walking path is a nice bonus if you want to stretch your legs. Restrooms on-site make it a solid choice for longer visits, which around here is not something you take for granted.
