Downs Park Playground

The renovation they did here was genuinely worth the wait — that castle-themed climbing structure is massive, with multi-story slides that older kids will actually find challenging. Little ones aren’t left out either, since the whole setup works well for ages 2 through 10 without feeling cramped or chaotic. There’s real room to spread out, both on the play structure and the open grass field where kids inevitably end up chasing each other around. Parking is easy, which matters more than people admit when you’re hauling a stroller and snacks. Honestly one of the better playgrounds in the Pasadena area right now.
