If you’re in Prince Frederick and want a park that actually has its act together, this is a solid pick. The playground equipment looks genuinely new, the turf surface is a nice touch over the usual mulch situation, and it stays clean — which, honestly, isn’t something you can say about every park in Calvert County. Kids from toddlers up through elementary age have plenty to work with on the slides, and when they’re done, there’s a basketball court and soccer field to keep the older ones busy. Parking is never a headache here, and the restrooms are updated and easy to find.
