Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center

If you haven’t made the drive out to Solomons for this place, you’re genuinely missing out. The walking paths wind through the woods past all kinds of sculptures — some serious, some delightfully weird — and kids lose their minds over the fairy houses tucked along the trail edges. There’s a water feature, plenty of shade, and enough picnic tables that you can actually claim a decent spot without hovering. Restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and the open grass field gives little ones room to run while adults do the art appreciation thing. It’s the kind of spot that works for everyone in the group, which around here is harder to find than it sounds.
