Kent Island Volunteer Fireman’s Carnival

If you’re on the Eastern Shore side of the Bay Bridge in summer, this carnival pops up in Stevensville as one of those classic small-town fundraiser events the local fire department has been running forever. It’s the kind of place where your kids will absolutely find something they want to do, even if your wallet takes a hit — ride tickets add up faster than you’d expect. Worth swinging by at least once if you’ve got little ones who haven’t done the whole carnival circuit yet, but go in with a budget in mind.
