One of Arlington’s better-kept secrets, this place has enough going on that you could easily spend a whole afternoon without running out of things to do. Kids gravitate toward the swings and water feature while parents claim a picnic table — there’s plenty of both. The soccer field and open grass get a solid workout on weekends, and the walking path that edges toward the woods and pond is genuinely nice, not just a loop around a parking lot. There’s a skate park too, which gives older kids somewhere to be. Parking and restrooms make it easy for families to just show up and stay a while.
