Carlisle Castle Playground

This one’s a genuine community gem — the castle-themed wooden structure has that old-school charm, but they’ve kept it fresh with a zipline and ninja course that older kids actually want to stay on. Little ones (we’re talking 2 and up) have plenty to explore too, so it works for mixed-age groups without anyone getting bored. The net climb leading up to the slide is a favorite, and there are enough nooks and hiding spots to keep imaginative play going for a while. Bring snacks — there are picnic tables and benches, and you’ll probably be here longer than planned.
