Rutter’s Park

If you haven’t been since the renovations, it’s worth swinging by — the place is genuinely well-kept in a way a lot of parks around here aren’t. Shade trees are scattered throughout, and the picnic tables actually sit under cover, so you’re not melting while the kids run around. Being right near the lake gives the whole spot a different feel than your average playground, a little cooler, a bit more relaxed. Good for the 2-to-12 crowd, and honestly one of the cleaner parks you’ll find in the area.
