Blithewood is one of those parks that actually makes sense for families with kids of different ages — the enclosed play area means you’re not chasing a three-year-old into traffic while your older one’s on the basketball court. The climbing structure and slides keep the younger crowd busy, and there’s enough open grass field to kick a ball around when the kids need to burn off more energy. Shade trees and benches mean you can actually sit down and not roast in July. Parking is right there, which sounds basic but matters more than people admit.
