Holmes Field Park

This place is a solid go-to for families on the west side of Worcester — the playground has a good mix of stuff for different ages, from swings and a seesaw for the little ones to a climbing structure and hill slides that keep older kids busy. The rubber mulch surface is noticeably well-maintained, which you don’t always see at city parks. Beyond the playground, there’s a soccer field and open grass where kids can just run without bumping into anyone. Come fall, the shade trees around the park look genuinely great, and the picnic tables make it easy to stretch out a full afternoon here. Parking is available, it stays clean, and the 2–12 crowd is well covered.
