Right in Albion, so you’ve got Albion College basically in your backyard, which gives the whole area a surprisingly lively feel for a small town. The wooden structure with the big slide and monkey bars is the kind of setup kids actually want to spend time on, not just glance at and move on. There’s a pond nearby where you can feed the ducks, covered picnic spots, and clean restrooms — the basics done right. If you’re into disc golf, there’s a course close enough to make a full afternoon out of it between the kids’ playground time and a round with the adults.
