If you’ve got little ones under 8, this spot in downtown Boyne City is worth knowing about. The play equipment is pretty classic — swings, a slide, climbing structure, merry-go-round — nothing flashy, but it’s all well-kept and the right scale for younger kids. Shade trees do a solid job of keeping things cool on hot summer days, and there are benches nearby so you’re not just standing around. The walking path along the waterfront is a nice bonus, especially if you want to stretch your legs after the kids have burned some energy. It’s a quiet park, the kind where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over a crowd.
