Right on the edge of Kent Lake, this spot is one of those places where the playground almost feels secondary to everything else around it. Kids end up splitting their time between the equipment and the beach, which honestly is how it should be. The trail access nearby makes it easy to tack on a short hike before or after, and the whole area has that shaded, woodsy feel that keeps it cooler on hot summer days. If you’re local to Brighton, you probably already know this one — and if you don’t, fix that.
