There’s a walking path that connects nicely to the surrounding area, and with a pond nearby and trees providing actual shade, it doesn’t feel like your typical urban park. Picnic tables make it easy to turn a quick trip into a half-day thing. It stays clean and well-kept, which — if you’ve been to other parks around here — you know isn’t always a given.
