Playground – Patriarche Park

One of the better playgrounds on the East Lansing side of things — Patriarche Park has a genuinely large playscape that’s split into separate sections for the little ones (2-5) and the older kids (5-12), which makes a real difference when you’ve got kids at different stages. Parking is easy, the restrooms are actually maintained, and there’s no shortage of picnic tables if you’re planning to stay a while. The shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not just baking in the sun while the kids run around. Throw in a big open grass field and you’ve got enough space to keep everyone busy for a solid afternoon.
