If you haven’t taken your kids to Hager Park yet, you’re missing out on one of Georgetown Township’s best kept secrets. The wooden castle structure — they call it Imagination Station — is genuinely unlike anything else in the area, and kids between 2 and 14 will find something to keep them busy for hours. The zipline alone makes the trip worth it. Trails wind back toward the woods, so it’s easy to stretch the visit into a full afternoon once the little ones finally peel themselves off the climbing equipment. Pack a lunch, grab one of the picnic tables near the BBQ area, and plan to stay a while — the shade trees make it actually comfortable in the summer.
