Right next to the Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center, this spot is one of those under-the-radar finds that locals actually use. The nature center access is the real selling point — you can let the kids burn energy at the park and then wander over for some actual outdoor education without moving your car. It’s kept up well, feels genuinely welcoming, and the accessibility makes it work for families with different needs. Shelby Township doesn’t always get credit for its parks, but this one earns it.
