If you want a low-key beach day without fighting for a parking spot, this is the spot locals actually use. The playground has enough going on to keep kids busy, with a separate section sized down for the little ones — slides and all. Clean restrooms, covered picnic areas, and easy lake access make it genuinely easy to just show up and stay a while. Spring Lake folks know it well, but it never feels overcrowded, which is honestly half the appeal. Come for the Lake Michigan sunsets and you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
