Right on the bay in Traverse City, this pirate-themed spot is one of those places where the setting does half the work — kids are already excited before they even hit the climbing structure. The swings face the water, which honestly makes it hard to get anyone to leave. There’s a sandbox, a solid play structure, and enough room for the 2-12 crowd to spread out without chaos. Families are well taken care of here: clean restrooms, picnic tables, a BBQ area, shaded seating, and actual parking, which matters more than people admit. Beach access right there makes it easy to turn this into a full half-day thing.
