Riverside Lions Park (Playground)

One of those parks that actually earns the “multi-use” label — summer brings pickup basketball and kids tearing across the open grass field, and come winter that same space turns into an ice skating rink, which is a genuinely cool thing for a town this size. The playground works for a wide age range, and the wooded edges give it a little breathing room from the surrounding area. Restrooms and solid parking mean you’re not roughing it, and being close to downtown Vassar makes a spontaneous stop pretty easy to justify. Locals get real mileage out of this one year-round.
