Honestly, Carter Park is one of those low-key spots that the neighborhood is lucky to have. It’s nothing flashy — a small playground setup and a big open grass field — but that’s kind of the point. The area is quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think while the kids run around. If you’re local to that part of Alexandria, it fills the gap nicely without a lot of fuss.
