Hyland Lake Park Reserve

This place is a legitimate all-day destination — bring snacks, because nobody’s leaving after 20 minutes. The fenced-in playground covers pretty much every age from babies to middle schoolers, with a solid climbing structure, tunnels, a maze, tire swing, and a water feature that’s basically mandatory on any warm day. Shaded seating and clean restrooms make it one of those parks where parents actually want to stick around too. The lake nearby adds a whole other layer, and the open grass field and walking path mean you can burn off whatever energy is left after the playground. Honestly one of the better setups in Bloomington.
