If you’re in Byron and looking for a solid neighborhood park, this one’s worth the stop. The equipment got a refresh not too long ago, so you’re not dealing with rickety old stuff — there are slides, swings, a climbing structure, and tunnels that keep kids busy across a pretty wide age range, toddlers through tweens. The basketball court is a nice bonus, and the open grass field gives dogs and littles plenty of room to just run. Shaded seating means you can actually sit comfortably while you watch, which parents around here genuinely appreciate. It’s a low-key, well-rounded spot that locals use regularly for good reason.
