Tucked into one of Mankato’s quieter residential pockets, this playground does exactly what a good neighborhood spot should — gives kids a place to get outside without making parents drive across town. It’s accessible, which matters more than people realize until they actually need it. Nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point — families around here seem to appreciate having something low-key and close to home.
