Twin Lakes City Park

If you live in Nowthen and haven’t made this your regular summer spot yet, you’re missing out. The lake access is the real draw — kids can splash around while parents grab a shaded picnic table or get the grill going at the BBQ area. There are swings and a water feature to keep the little ones busy, and the walking path winds out toward the woods if anyone wants to stretch their legs after eating. Restrooms, a baby changing station, parking — it’s all here, which matters more than people admit. Honestly, it’s the kind of low-key local park that doesn’t get enough credit.
