Church Playground

Small-town playgrounds don’t always get this right, but the one by the church in Porter does. The rubberized surface is a nice touch — way better on little knees than packed dirt — and the shade makes a real difference on those hot Minnesota afternoons. Toddlers have ramps to navigate without frustration, while older kids can tackle the climbing rock structure and actually feel challenged. It’s the kind of spot where the whole community seems to show up, and the accessibility features mean nobody really gets left out.
