Right on the edge of Green Lake in Spicer, this spot has a design that actually makes you stop and look twice — the castle-top climbing structures are genuinely cool, not just another generic play set. There’s a fenced section just for the little ones, which parents around here really appreciate, and the older kids have their own space to roam without toddlers underfoot. Shade trees do a solid job of keeping things comfortable on hot Minnesota afternoons, and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables if you’re planning to stick around. The water feature keeps kids busy, the lake views don’t hurt, and the whole setup feels like someone actually thought it through.
