One of the better-kept secrets in Hattiesburg, this fully fenced park makes life a lot easier when you’ve got little ones who like to bolt. The wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round is the real standout — you don’t see that kind of thoughtful equipment at every playground, and kids genuinely love it. Shade trees keep things bearable even in the thick of a Mississippi summer, which, if you live here, you know matters more than almost anything else. Parents can actually see the whole play area without having to hover, and there’s a walking track if you want to get some steps in while the kids burn off energy.
