Shaw Park Treetop Playground

Clayton locals know this one well, and for good reason — the treetop theme actually feels intentional rather than slapped-on, with climbing structures and slides that fit the aesthetic. Kids from toddlers up to about 12 have enough to keep them busy, between the swings, seesaw, musical equipment, and the splash pad when it gets hot out. The enclosed play area is a real plus if you’ve got little runners, and the shade trees plus covered seating mean you’re not baking on a bench while you wait. There’s open grass nearby for burning off whatever energy the playground didn’t handle, and the pond adds a nice backdrop. Facilities are genuinely clean — not “clean for a public park” clean, just clean.
