Flushing Township’s Key-Lore is one of those low-key local spots that families in the area actually use on a regular basis. It’s geared toward kids aged 2 to 12, so there’s a decent mix of ages running around on any given afternoon. Not the flashiest park you’ll ever visit, but that’s kind of the point — it’s a genuine neighborhood playground where kids can just go outside and be kids. Worth noting that it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind before making the trip. Pack some snacks, let the little ones burn off some energy, and call it a solid afternoon.
