Hawk Ridge Park (Zachary’s Playground)

This is one of those parks you end up staying at way longer than you planned. Zachary’s Playground was designed with accessibility front and center — the equipment genuinely works for kids of all abilities, which isn’t something you can say about most playgrounds around Lake Saint Louis. You’ve got your slides, swings, tire swing, merry-go-round, and climbing structure, plus a sandbox, water feature, and musical equipment that the little ones absolutely lose their minds over. There’s a BBQ area and shaded seating for the adults, clean restrooms including a family restroom, and a walking path that loops near the pond if you need to burn off some energy yourself. Honestly, it’s the kind of spot locals don’t love to overshare because once word gets out, it gets crowded.
