Love Park

One of those spots the locals know but don’t really advertise, Love Park sits right on the edge of a wooded area with a pond nearby — and it punches well above its weight for a neighborhood park. Kids have dubbed it “Three Tunnel Park” for obvious reasons, and between the tunnels, slides, and swings, the playground keeps the 2-12 crowd busy for a solid hour without complaint. Pack a lunch because there’s no shortage of picnic tables under actual shade trees, which matters a lot come July. The walking trails wind back toward the woods and feel genuinely removed from the suburbs, even though you’re never far from the parking lot. Throw in a soccer field and open grass and you’ve got everything you need for a full family afternoon.
