O’Day Park

If you live on this side of O’Fallon, you probably already know about this place — and if you don’t, you’re missing out. The playground has a solid mix of slides, swings, a seesaw, and climbing structures that keep kids busy across a pretty wide age range, plus a water feature that becomes everyone’s first stop once the temperature climbs. Shade trees and covered seating make it genuinely comfortable for parents to stick around, and the picnic tables get good use on weekends without the place ever feeling overcrowded. The restrooms are clean and actually have a baby changing station, which, if you’ve dealt with parks that don’t, you know matters. The bike track and walking path give older kids and adults something to do, and the open grass field is exactly what it sounds like — good, simple space to run around.
