DuSable Park Playground

If you’re doing the Katy Trail with little ones, this spot is worth knowing about. It sits right off the trail, so you can stop without much detour — swings, slides, restrooms, and picnic tables are all there when you need them. Nothing fancy, but for the 2-7 crowd it does the job. There’s a basketball court if older kids or adults need something to do, and short paths lead straight down to the Missouri River. Keep it in your back pocket for trail days when someone needs a break.
