If you haven’t spent a lazy afternoon wandering through the Japanese stroll garden here, you’re genuinely missing out. The butterfly house alone is worth the trip, especially with kids — they go absolutely nuts for it. There’s a water feature near the lake, plenty of shade to actually enjoy a summer visit without melting, and enough open grass for everyone to spread out. The walking and bike paths connect it all together pretty naturally, so you can do as much or as little as you want. Locals treat this place like a well-kept secret, but it’s very much open to everyone.
