Stodden Park is genuinely one of the better spots in Butte to bring kids for a solid chunk of the afternoon. The playground has a good mix of slides and a zipline that the older kids actually get excited about, plus a water feature that’s a lifesaver on warm days. Equipment-wise, it’s more extensive than most public parks around here — not just a couple of sad swings and a climbing structure. The whole place is well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in town, and parking is free and plentiful so you’re not circling the block with a carload of antsy kids. Good for anywhere from toddlers up through about 12.
