E.T. Mahoney State Park Activity Center, Venture Climb, and Seasonal Ice Skating Rink

If you haven’t taken the kids to Mahoney State Park yet, you’re genuinely missing out — this place punches way above its weight for a state park activity center. The climbing structure and zipline keep older kids busy while the little ones do their thing, and having an indoor option means weather doesn’t wreck your plans. Come winter, the seasonal ice skating rink gives you a solid reason to make the drive out even when it’s cold. The forested trails nearby make it easy to tack on a real outdoor adventure before or after. Honestly one of the better all-ages setups in the Ashland area, and it covers kids from toddlers all the way up through teenagers without anyone getting bored.
