Johnson Lake Community Playground

Right on the edge of Johnson Lake, this little community spot is one of those places locals know about but don’t always talk about. The lake views alone make it worth the stop — there’s something about letting the kids run around while you actually get to sit and look at the water. It’s close to Medo’s Resort, so it fits naturally into a longer day out in Elwood. Nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point — just a genuine outdoor space where families can decompress away from everything.
